Disconnect your Meta account
Effective: October 5, 2026
Last Updated: October 5, 2026
You control MOQUP’s access to your Facebook and Instagram accounts. Remove access from Connections or your Meta account settings to stop using a social connection.
1. Remove access
In your MOQUP dashboard, open Connections, choose your Facebook or Instagram connection, and select Disconnect.
You can also remove MOQUP in Facebook’s Apps and Websites or Business Integrations settings, or in Instagram’s Apps and Websites settings, depending on how you connected your account.
2. What happens after deauthorization
When Meta notifies us that access has been removed, MOQUP verifies the notification and removes the affected connection and its stored access tokens. That connection can no longer be used to publish content or retrieve account information.
Scheduled posts that rely on the disconnected account cannot publish until you reconnect. Your MOQUP account, subscription, drafts, and already published social posts remain in place. You can reconnect from Connections whenever you want to authorize access again.
3. Account and data deletion
Disconnecting a social account does not delete your MOQUP account or cancel your subscription. To delete your account and associated data, follow our data deletion instructions.
If you cannot access your account or need help removing a connection, email support@moqup.app.
